Just as the recent storm tore through the north-west the prior day, Manchester City overwhelmed Manchester United aside at the Etihad Stadium. It was a statement 3-0 victory for their manager's side thanks to goals from Knaak, Shaw and Lauren Hemp. It was a result that truly announced their leadership claims as they consolidated their place at the WSL pinnacle.

Team Changes
